These Terms and Conditions apply to the purchase of goods in the Seller’s online store. The Buyer may be either a consumer or an entrepreneur.
A consumer is a natural person who, when concluding and performing the contract, does not act within the scope of their business activity, employment or profession. An entrepreneur is a person who purchases goods within the scope of their business activity or under a company ID number.
Before submitting an order, the Buyer confirms that they have read these Terms and Conditions and agree to them.
Legal relations between the Seller and the Buyer are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, in particular by the Civil Code and consumer protection regulations.
2. Order and conclusion of the purchase contract
The Buyer orders goods through the online store www.vlnanapredaj.sk.
The order is considered submitted when the Buyer clicks the relevant button during the checkout process. After submitting the order, the Buyer will receive confirmation of receipt of the order to the e-mail address provided.
The purchase contract is concluded upon confirmation of the order by the Seller. The Seller reserves the right to contact the Buyer in the event of unclear information, missing details, unavailability of goods or an obvious error in the price or product description.
If the order cannot be processed due to unavailability of goods, an obvious error or another significant obstacle, the Seller will inform the Buyer without undue delay and propose further steps, in particular changing the order, offering replacement goods, later delivery or cancelling the order.
The Buyer may request cancellation of the order if it has not yet been dispatched or prepared for personal collection. The Seller will try to comply with such a request if it is possible considering the current status of the order.
3. Price of goods and payment terms
Prices of goods are listed in the online store for individual products. Unless stated otherwise, prices include VAT.
The price of goods does not include shipping costs or any cash-on-delivery fee. These costs are displayed during the checkout process before the order is submitted.
The Seller does not charge a packaging fee.
The Buyer may pay for the order using the payment methods listed during the checkout process, in particular:
- payment in advance by bank transfer,
- cash on delivery,
- or other payment methods currently offered by the online store.
In the case of payment by bank transfer, the order will be dispatched only after the payment has been credited to the Seller’s bank account. If the payment is not credited within 5 business days, the Seller may cancel the order.
The Seller may provide individual discounts or customer benefits. The conditions for granting, duration and use of a discount are determined by the Seller, unless stated otherwise for a specific discount.
4. Delivery of goods
The Seller delivers goods using the delivery methods listed during the checkout process, in particular via Packeta/Zásielkovňa or DPD.
Goods may also be collected personally at the VlnaNaPredaj store at Vajnorská 20, 831 04 Bratislava, during current opening hours.
If the goods are in stock, the Seller usually dispatches them on the next business day, generally no later than within 3 to 5 business days. In the case of payment by bank transfer, this period starts only after the payment has been credited to the Seller’s bank account.
If the goods are not in stock or cannot be delivered within the usual period, the Seller will inform the Buyer and agree on the next steps.
The Buyer is informed about dispatch by e-mail, if this is enabled by the online store or carrier system.
The tax document is sent to the Buyer electronically, usually by e-mail.
5. Shipping costs
Shipping costs are displayed during the checkout process before the order is submitted.
Indicative shipping prices:
- DPD courier: EUR 3.90,
- DPD courier with discounted shipping: EUR 2.90,
- Packeta/Zásielkovňa: EUR 2.90,
- cash on delivery: additional fee of EUR 1.10.
For orders over EUR 50, the Seller may provide free shipping if this option is displayed during the checkout process. Free shipping may not apply to the cash-on-delivery fee.
The Seller may send parcels to the Czech Republic via Packeta/Zásielkovňa according to the current prices displayed during the checkout process.
The shipping cost displayed to the Buyer before submitting the order is always decisive.
6. Acceptance of goods
The Buyer is obliged to accept the ordered goods at the agreed place and time.
Upon receiving the parcel, the Buyer is advised to check that the packaging is intact. If the parcel packaging is visibly damaged, we recommend that the Buyer refuses to accept the parcel or makes a damage report with the carrier and contacts the Seller without delay.
If the Buyer discovers damage to the goods only after accepting the parcel, we recommend that the Buyer contacts the Seller without delay and provides photographs of the packaging and damaged goods.
This provision does not affect the Buyer’s statutory rights arising from liability for defects in the goods.
If the Buyer fails to accept the parcel without a serious reason, the Seller may request reimbursement of reasonably incurred costs, especially shipping costs, if such costs were incurred.
7. Consumer’s right to withdraw from the contract
When purchasing online, the Consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 days from the day of receiving the goods.
The withdrawal period is preserved if the Consumer sends the notice of withdrawal to the Seller no later than on the last day of this period.
The Consumer may notify the Seller of withdrawal from the contract by e-mail or in writing to the Seller’s contact address. The Consumer may also use the model withdrawal form if it is available on the Seller’s website. Use of the form is not mandatory.
The goods must be sent or handed back to the Seller without undue delay, no later than within 14 days from the day of withdrawal from the contract.
Address for returning goods:
VlnaNaPredaj – Paulína Zemková
Vajnorská 20
831 04 Bratislava
Slovak Republic
Goods sent by cash on delivery will not be accepted by the Seller.
The Consumer bears the direct costs of returning the goods to the Seller, unless legal regulations or an agreement between the parties provide otherwise.
The Seller will refund the payments received from the Consumer within the statutory period after withdrawal from the contract, generally using the same payment method that the Consumer used, unless the parties agree otherwise.
The Seller is not obliged to refund the payment before the goods have been returned to the Seller or before the Consumer proves that the goods have been sent back.
The Consumer is liable for any decrease in the value of the goods caused by handling the goods beyond what is necessary to determine their nature and functionality.
The right to withdraw from the contract does not apply in particular to goods made according to the Consumer’s specific requirements, goods made to measure or goods specially modified according to the Consumer’s wishes, if this follows from legal regulations.
8. Exchange of goods
The Seller may allow the Buyer to exchange goods if the goods are unused, undamaged and suitable for resale. Exchange of goods is not a statutory entitlement unless it concerns a complaint or withdrawal from the contract by a Consumer within the statutory period.
We recommend contacting the Seller by e-mail in advance regarding the possibility of exchange.
The costs of sending goods for exchange and return delivery are borne by the Buyer, unless the parties agree otherwise.
9. Complaints and liability for defects
The Seller is liable for defects in goods in accordance with applicable legal regulations.
The Buyer is entitled to make a complaint to the Seller, in particular by e-mail or by sending the claimed goods to the address of the store.
Before sending claimed goods, we recommend that the Buyer contacts the Seller by e-mail so that the most suitable procedure can be agreed.
Address for sending claimed goods:
VlnaNaPredaj – Paulína Zemková
Vajnorská 20
831 04 Bratislava
Slovak Republic
We recommend attaching the following to the complaint:
- the claimed goods,
- a copy of the invoice or another proof of purchase,
- a description of the defect,
- the Buyer’s contact details,
- photographs of the defect, if applicable.
The complaint is handled by the Seller. When assessing the defect, the Seller may request an expert opinion from the manufacturer, supplier or another qualified person.
If the complaint is justified, the Seller proceeds in accordance with applicable legal regulations and according to the nature of the defect, in particular by providing repair, replacement, a reasonable discount or a refund, if the statutory conditions are met.
The complaint handling period is no more than 30 days, unless legal regulations provide for a different period.
It is advisable to send goods for complaint clean, dry and hygienically safe. This recommendation is not intended to limit the Buyer’s statutory rights, but to enable proper assessment of the claimed defect.
Warranty and liability for defects do not apply to defects caused in particular by:
- normal wear and tear,
- improper use,
- mechanical damage,
- incorrect washing or drying,
- use of unsuitable detergents,
- processing of the goods contrary to the manufacturer’s recommendations,
- intervention by the Buyer or a third party.
This does not affect the Consumer’s statutory rights.
10. Special information about yarn, wool and finished products
The Seller mainly sells yarn, wool and related products. The Buyer acknowledges that the properties of yarn may vary depending on composition, fibre type, treatment, dyeing method, knitting or crocheting method, stitch density, pattern used, washing and drying.
The Buyer is strongly advised to knit or crochet a test swatch before making a finished product, measure it, wash it according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and measure it again after drying. This helps prevent unwanted shrinking, stretching or deformation of the finished product.
The size, shape and appearance of a finished product made by the Buyer depend on several factors that the Seller cannot influence, in particular the method of processing the yarn, knitting or crocheting tension, chosen pattern, washing, drying and subsequent care.
A change in the finished product caused by incorrect processing, unsuitable washing, unsuitable drying, use of an unsuitable detergent or failure to follow the manufacturer’s recommendations is generally not considered a defect in the goods.
When washing wool, we recommend using gentle detergents intended for wool and fine natural fibres. The Seller especially recommends hand washing in lukewarm water, without rubbing, twisting or sudden temperature changes, and drying the product flat.
With superwash wool, the product may in some cases stretch more significantly. With non-superwash wool, incorrect washing may cause shrinking or felting. These characteristics are related to the nature of the material and the method of care.
The Seller recommends avoiding aggressive or unsuitable detergents, fabric softeners, enzyme-based products, products with a significant content of softening agents or other products not intended for wool and fine natural fibres.
This section of the Terms and Conditions is not intended to limit the Buyer’s statutory rights arising from liability for defects, but to inform the Buyer about the specific nature of natural materials and their proper care.
11. Colours, photographs and dye lots
Product photographs in the online store are illustrative. The Seller tries to display product colours as accurately as possible; however, the actual shade may differ slightly depending on monitor or display settings, lighting during photography or the production dye lot.
In the case of yarn, differences may occur between individual dye lots. If the Buyer needs several pieces of yarn for one project, we recommend ordering the required quantity at once or contacting the Seller in advance regarding the availability of the same dye lot.
A slight colour difference caused by the settings of the display device or by a difference in the dye lot is generally not considered a defect in the goods, unless it is a substantial deviation from the ordered product.
12. Personal data
The Seller processes the Buyer’s personal data to the extent necessary to process the order, deliver the goods, issue a tax document, handle complaints and fulfil legal obligations.
Detailed information on the processing of personal data is provided in a separate document “Privacy Policy”, which is available on the Seller’s website.
The Seller processes personal data in accordance with the GDPR and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on Personal Data Protection.
Personal data may be provided to the necessary extent mainly to carriers, payment service providers, accounting and tax advisers, providers of technical administration of the online store and public authorities, if required by legal regulations.
13. Alternative resolution of consumer disputes
If the Consumer is not satisfied with the way the Seller handled their complaint or believes that the Seller has violated their rights, the Consumer has the right to contact the Seller with a request for remedy.
If the Seller responds negatively to the request or does not respond within 30 days from the date it was sent, the Consumer has the right to submit a proposal to initiate alternative dispute resolution to the relevant alternative dispute resolution body.
The relevant body may be, for example, the Slovak Trade Inspection.

14. Final provisions
These Terms and Conditions are valid and effective from 1.7.2026.
The Seller reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions. The Buyer’s order is governed by the Terms and Conditions valid at the time the order is submitted, unless the parties agree otherwise.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or ineffective, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
These Terms and Conditions are available on the Seller’s website and the Buyer has the option to save or print them.
